Gender-Neutral Bodycare

Traditionally, body products have relied on gender binary roles as a selling point, resulting in an oversaturated market that does not accurately reflect current consumer needs. However, the gender-neutral body product space is expanding, and many new brands are finding success with Millennial and Gen Z consumers. These demographics often make purchasing decisions based on functionality and ethics. Furthermore, the production of traditional liquid products varies in sustainability. “One study found that liquid soaps for hand washing need about five times as much energy for formulation and roughly 20 times as much energy for packaging production than bar soaps do.”
